I had to have little Lady Bugs…some call them Lady Birds and also I crocheted a frill around the flower centres for a 3D effect. If you don’t crochet then just do appliqué.

As some of you know, I have got myself a new quilting frame and a new sewing machine just for being on the frame to quilt with.
This is my first quilt I done with it..  I have done some quilting on my domestic sewing machine but to have a frame is very exciting!
I just did an all over squiggle and didn't get frustrated like I do on my domestic one - much more room!!

Another thing I indulged in was making this cute little elephant. I have got other felt colours but just haven't got to making any more as yet.    10403252_10202654884228114_4405072408637131947_n

Blog Post…Blog Post….finally!!!

Wow!! how do I let it get to be so far in between posts?
Hello everyone and hope you all are going well… I am well and just cruising along and doing a fair bit of hand sewing and not alot of computer stuff… except I do play on FB a bit.
Anyway what have I been up to…
First of all the weekend in Melbourne with all the ladies who came to the Let’s Get Stitched event. It was a blast and everyone who went said they had the best weekend with like minded friends which made me very happy because I was a bit flat out organising it and making sure we had everything done for it all.

Our Fee found us the fabulous place to stay which was great cause we were all in the one place.
Us ‘Nutters’ love these weekends because we have made so many wonderful friends thru them and we know that you all have too.

We also had lots of lovely ladies from ‘Our Craft Forum’ attend for the first time which was very exciting!! Even tho the forum is now closed but we have the Our Craft Forum group on FB.
First timers were Trish, Diana, Doris, Shez, Allison and Geniene. The others have been to our event before :)

The tables were all set up waiting for the ladies to come in and explore their goodie bags full of lots of fabulous items.
LGS 002 (Medium)The day was fabulous and we had us ‘Nutters’ plus we also had Jenny Reynolds join us as a tutor and we had 3 other surprises!!
We had Marilyn Duncan and Vikki Collumbine join us as 2 secret tutors and that was all the ladies thought they were going to be surprised with….but we had another surprise waiting behind the curtain to come out.

It was Rosalie Quinlan who created lots of ‘Ooohs and Aaahs and much excitement from the ladies.

Finally…..it’s been so long..

Hi everyone and where has February gone? And nearly the end of March too…..gosh!! I can’t keep up with the time lately….is it a sign of old age starting to have an effect on me or is it because I am just busy….I think I will go for the busy bit. Don’t want to get ‘old’ yet. lol.

Well now since my last blog post I have been to Adelaide and spent 4 days over there from 8th – 12th March, with a group of gorgeous ladies for a Stitching weekend.

It was a fab time and so good to catch up with my ‘Nutter’ sisters :) Love those girls….Joy, Fee and Dawn and to catch up with all the other lovely ladies as well just, the best time. Here are some pics of a bit that went on.

Us ‘Nutters’ plus two secret designers who were Judy and Wendy all did a design for all the ladies that came for the Sunday Stitching Day.

My design is a lovely stitchery wall hanger and is the first of 7 in the set.

Monday Is Washing Day and the rest are going to be all the days of the week with the different ‘happenings’ for those days.

Monday Is Washing Day

Next year its going to be here in Melbourne (from 7th – 10th March) and I am organising it and plan on making it a fabulous time as Dawn did for Adelaide. Of course us ‘Nutters’ will release a new design for all those who come to it and we are having two new secret designers as well…..Exciting stuff!!

Now its back to reality again and I have been sewing a gorgeous new quilt by Lori Holt.

I will have some more blog posts shortly. Won’t be weeks that's for sure!!

have nice day

Hugs to All……
