Do you sew something for ages and when you finally finish it you feel a bit sad…like ‘Now what?’. That’s how I felt when I finally finished my On My Heart BOM.
It’s all done and I am really pleased with how its turned out. As you can see I decided to do the scallop border and I put some hearts in the corners of the borders. I have done a tutorial on how to do scallops, and you can find this on the right of my blog under Tutorials.
I will hang it on the wall as I have put a rod pocket on the back.

Remember my crazy tomato? This one…
Well I put some dirt over it and have been watering it lovingly and now look at what it has done….
I am going to have to transplant them into the garden soon. Amazing!
~~~~~~~~
Also I have sent my Stitchers Angel her goodies…I am hoping that they have got to her by now
I wrapped them up so she had lots of parcels to unwrap and discover what was inside each one. I can’t show you what I sent until she lets me know she has got it. But I can show you them all wrapped up….
Don't you just love opening parcels? I know I do :)
I have finally got back into doing the Breast Of Friends BOM. A little behind but slowly getting them done. This is Block 7 by Rosalie Quinlan and so that makes me about half way thru.
I better get a move on because there is lots of talk and excitement going on amongst all my Gumnut Sisters about what is coming up in the near future.
Did you see the gorgeous Freebie pattern by Jenny of Elefantz today on the Among the Gum Tree blog? Its divine and its one that I will be making a few of for Christmas pressies.
Wow….I had lots to show you all….I didn't think I had that much. Hope you all are having fun sewing up these gorgeous Christmas Freebies and all other lovely projects.
hugs to all……Vicki
ReplyDeleteHow when you did this to that tomato, did the red tomato just 'fade' away? Want to do this with the kids next spring. Awesome.
