I have been MIA but busy…..

I have been busy just I haven't been blogging much and haven’t posted for over a week!! My goodness how time flies. That seems to be all what I say lately….How time flies!!

Anyway, I have been sewing a few things and writing up patterns ……..

and I have started to pack my case as its not long now until the Stitching weekend in Tassie is here.

This is a bit of what I have been sewing…..I can’t show you proper pictures as these are for Stitching in Tassie.

I have been poking my nose into the Op-shops a bit lately too….Love old doily's and these ones I am going to cut up and sew into my Framed Hexagons that I am doing all white.

I have more but haven't taken any photos of them yet. I have just finished washing and ironing them. Next step is to cut them up to fit the Hexagon shape. As you can see by the ones above that there are some old stains on them and cutting around these will solve the problem of not having to soak them.

It’s back to the packing and cutting of fabric for the kits that I am having for the Stitching in Tassie weekend.

Busy busy busy……but all good.

    Not long now - you look like you are well on the way to being organised for Tassie. Some beautiful doileys there, they will be beautiful in your framed hexagons.

    Your pictures have peaked my curiousity. I am a bit far away to attend your Tassie event but I look forward to seeing what creations are made. Love what your Op-shop trip came up with.
