Here in the magazine - Patchwork & Stitching
Issue Vol. 11 No. 10 is my design ‘Fair Lady’.
I am over the moon with her as she is very special to me. I made her dress with gathered fabric and edged it in lace. There is embroidery and I also used Prismacolor pencils to colour in the top half of the lady. This is incorporating decorative painting into the design which was great to do as I used to do a lot of Folk Art & Decorative Painting.
Quilting, Patchwork and sewing took over that. Here is a close up of the coloured in areas.
I will have this available as a PDF pattern very soon.
I have been working on my website for my ‘The Pickledish Patch’ store plus getting in some stock for it and organising lots and lots of pictures.

I am getting excited about going to Brisbane next month and its not long to go now…
14 days!!!
Do you see the little button up on the right hand side of my blog? Its just above the Compassionate Friends button. That tells me how long until I fly off to Brissie… Started to pack my things and got some outfits sorted out. A lot of organising has been happening.
Can’t wait to meet everyone who are coming along to the morning at the park (GJ Walters Park at Cleveland) and I am very excited about that. *big smile*
Back to doing this website for my store.
hugs to all…….Vicki
