Do you like different fonts too?
I found a few today and decided to put them onto my computer.
This one is
interesting as it
has Shabby Roses
on it…sweet.
I got myself a Toshiba 17” Laptop the other week and I love it! I can even have EQ7 on it too which is a big plus.
Why is it that when we take photos of our laptops, that we have to have our blog page open on it? LOL.
I mostly got it to take to Western Australia when we go over for my son’s wedding. That is now 2 and a half weeks before we fly off….getting closer and closer.Anyway…I got a carry bag for it but I felt I had to give it a little coat to give it extra protection. I had these two stitched blocks in my UFO box of things and thought…now all I need are some strips and padding and then I can make this…This is one side
and this is the other side
I had fun with it as I did some machine quilting on it and it’s a nice cosy sleeve for my laptop to sleep in now.
I also had fun today as I learnt how to make a Brush in my Adobe Photoshop…see it on the pictures?
I have often seen them on people pictures and wondered how they did them…well I did a google and up comes these very helpful people that show you how to do it.
Have you seen my last post with the ‘Hot Potato’? Check it out…you still have time to enter and hopefully win the darling little pattern.
A few of you have been asking me if I have got my outfit for my son’s wedding…
and Yes I have :)
I was mostly concerned about getting shoes as I have a lot of trouble getting shoes to fit my feet, but I have got some and they are lovely ..well I like them. I love the dress and jacket I got also and so I am ready for the big day. Well…I still got to make my hair a nice colour instead of this airstrip colour that I have and also I am treating myself to a manicure and get my nails done French style :) Oohhh la la :)
Exactly the same computer on am waiting on for my trip to Sydney , can't not check everyones blogs for 5 days can I ?
ReplyDeleteWould love to see your French nails after the manicure!!!
ReplyDeletedon't forget the pedicure.....or at least the podiatry.
ReplyDeleteNow I can no longer cut toenails it is an essential for me and am long overdue. Wish I could get my cute young podiatrist guy to paint the toe nails also.....LOL.
Am impressed with the cover.
I have resisted the lap top thus far.....figure I will want the latest and best if I have to go to a nursing home one day........VBG!
I just know you are so excited about the wedding...not long of a wait now!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having fun with your laptop...
What fun times coming up for you, Vicky! We will be looking for a picture of the mother of the groom at the wedding in her lovely new outfit when she returns from the wedding. I actually got my first pedicure before my granddaughter's recent wedding - only took me 82 years to get one. Think I will get another one soon! Love your laptop cover, too. :-) Carol
