This quilt is finally done! I was in a swap with some of the ladies from the Craft Forum and we swapped these blocks. I made blocks for them and I got these from those ladies. I started to sew these blocks together at the end of 2008 so finally its all done…quilted and backed and edged.
I practiced machine quilting on it and I have a long way to go before I will be completely happy with my machine quilting.

I have done another two of Dawn’s doily's and this is it for now..4 all up I did and they are all to go in to the Christmas box for pressies. I cant find my picture of the 4th one so you will just have to believe me. If you want the pattern to do these gorgeous doily's head on over to Dawns blog as she has it to download.
A few of you wanted to know the crocheted edge I did on them and if you go here you can do a crocheted edge on your doily's too.

I decided to have a bit of a spend up the other day :) Some lovely fabrics and a couple of Honey Buns and a couple of packets of beads.

Last week I was totally surprised to get a parcel in the post all the way from Sweden. Louise sent me all these lovely goodies. How spoilt am I? I love the crocheted edging and will make a special doily with it and the butterfly and the little needle case are all so special. I love it all that she sent me. Thank you so much Louise… Louise doesn’t have a blog.
Hope you all are having a good week and having it not too hot or too cold.
Hugs to all……….Vicki
