Just a few things….

Hi Everyone….Hope everyone is going along well and sewing lots…I have been busy with a few things but not a lot. Just plodding along on my son’s and his fiancé's quilt I am doing for them for their wedding.

I think I told you I was going to the AQC show here in Melbourne…well I went and met up with some lovely ladies from the Craft Forum and we had a good natter at lunch time.

There is Juliet, Lyn, Barb and Ondrea all standing up and Juliet’s daughter and me sitting.

Of course I got a few goodies and according to my DH, I didn't spend enough. Hhmmm….But I made up for that the other day as the Craft Depot is having a sale and I spent some more there.

I love looking at the quilts that are on display and here are a few what took my fancy.

This one amazed me as its every bit 1 inch hexies. The whole lot is hexies..even the background parts. Thousands and thousands!!

Here’s a close up of the hexies.

I wonder how long it took and how many hexies there are. It blew me away!

Jenny of Elefantz has designed this gorgeous cushion and the pattern is available to purchase from her blog.

All the proceeds of the sales she is donating to The UNHCR's Safe Mother and Baby Program. You can read all about it on her blog and so pop on over and help her raise money for these most unfortunate people.

I happen to agree with your hubby, you must have kept your purse shut otherwise you'd be bragging about all the goodies you purchased! LOL
