I have been looking at doing Cathederal Windows sewing for quite some time and have not started it as I thought it was going to be hard. Well I stumbled across this fabulous tutorial from Hyena In Petticoats blog and she has it down pat and to me it all makes sense and is very enjoyable to do. I hope to make a quilt size one and this is what I have done so far.
It’s fantastic as I get to use up a lot of my scraps which was becoming rather a huge amount. Don’t look too close at my sewing as its all new to me this technique and I am finding that as I go along the better I do.

Today is my youngest grandson’s 4th birthday!
Happy Birthday Regan
He is so cute and I love him to bits and I have to get his gorgeous Mum to give him cuddles and kisses from me because he is over in Western Australia and I am here in Victoria.
Wow….I can’t believe its 4 years since he was born…how time flies! His Mum made a heap of cupcakes for him to take to his Kindy so that he can celebrate with his Kindy kids today.

Hugs to all……Vicki

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to a cute grandson:)
I made one of these for my brother in a bedspread size. It took me 7 years, because I could only work on it so long and then I had to put it away or start cutting it up with the scissors! When I gave it to him he was astounded, to say the least. All those that I do from here forward are going to be pillow size. They are beautiful and enjoyable to do.- Myra
