This is the first block I did but I changed the outside border on it as I wasn't totally happy with the fabric choice I originally had. I got some lovely pink fat quarters from Barb for the Monthly FQ Swap and liked one of the ones she sent way better than what I had on it. So I unpicked and sewed the new pink one on. I am happy with it now. Its from Homespun No.68 (Vol10.1) which is the latest issue.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and I appreciate them very much.
Hugs to all
Vicki
Vicki,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you unpicked and did your final border again!
But I'm glad the fat 1/4 came in handy.Barb

Love the block and also joined as I would love to follow this one.
ReplyDeleteVicky, I love the second version. I think that was a very wise decision. The pink border suits the block perfectly. Your stitchery is gorgeous too, I cant wait to start mine, but I am deliberating on colors.

Love the pink border, great work.

Changing the border was the right decision. It is amazing how different a block can look by using a another fabric.
