Starting to get a good collection.

Slowly I am getting thru these blocks. But a long way to go before I am finished. They are intriguing and after I have completed one its like a precious little thing I have to tend to. A bit strange I know but that is what they are beginning to be like.

Medallion Round Robin 2008

On the craft forum a few of us ladies decided to do a Medallion Round Robin for 2008 and I started this with the centre by applique on it and then the next lady did a border and passed it on to the next lady and on it went to several different ladies until I got it back just the other day. I love how its turned out and am delighted with what the ladies did on it. I just have to back it now and maybe do some quilting. Not sure yet.

Elvis Wall Hanger

I couldnt wait any longer to give this wall hanger with Elvis on it to my husband's Auntie. She is just crazy about Elvis and I managed to get the picture panel off of ebay and then sewed it up into a wall hanger. I gave it to her yesterday and she just about turned herself inside out with glee!! It was such a thrill watching her looking at it and exclaiming how fabulous it was. She cant wait to go to her Bingo meeting next week to show all her friends there, she is in her 70's too so never too old to still 'love' a singing idol.
