Still sewing and stitching…..

I have done 5 blocks in the Stitch-A-Long with Chookyblue and am still way behind. But I will catch up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have also done a couple of blocks for the BOMs I am doing on Our Craft Forum. I am enjoying doing these blocks as they are what others have chosen.
I am doing them in these colours for a reason. I think someone is going to love the finished quilt. Well ….let’s say….I hope they will love the finished quilt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The next lot of blocks are from a BOM a few of us are doing from Our Craft Forum and I am making them from the same fabrics but in each one they look different. Just goes to show the different lighting makes things look so different.

Got five blocks to go and then its putting them all together.

You know I still have a couple of other BOMs I have not finished yet. You would think I would get them done first before I started new ones. But I think that is a patchworker’s prerogative…to have several projects on the go at one time. There is no excuse for not having anything to do then. *grin*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A couple of you remember your Mum and Grandmothers using the Rickets Blue cubes and also in bags and its great to hear your stories. The Rickets Blue was put into the final rinse for whites so that they didn’t yellow and were brighter.
Happy sewing everyone and hugs to all….
    I can't get over the variance of colours in those blocks, even though they are all the same fabrics. Wow!
