A Bag from Scraps and some yumminess!

I had a heap of scraps left over from cutting the corners off those squares that you use when you sew a little square onto a big one and trim the corners off after sewing across the middle….like this….

CaptureI thought …..well its a waste that they are all just sitting there filling up the little box….so I made a heap of Pinwheel blocks from them and then joined these together and ended making a bag. Well…..what else does a girl make? Of course I need another bag!!

This is the front of the bag

and the back

The photos have turned out a bit dark but you get the idea :)

My DH and I bought ourselves a portable oven as we didn't have one before IMG_0319

and I have been cooking a few yummy things….but I am still getting used to the heat of it and how it cooks…..so far so good :)

Lots of yumminess cooking there……Sausage Rolls…..wanna come for supper? I got to go and check on them now….

Hugs to all ……..Vicki

  14. Love your pinwheels! I like the idea of scrappy, and using up all those "spare parts". It makes lovely quilts, but not much extra room in my storage space...

    ; )

Thank you for your lovely visit, too!

  22. I also make pinwheel blocks from my scraps and make a row of them on the quilt back about 3rd way down the back for some interest. You will have to share your sausage roll recipe with us...
