Roonies Pincushion Pattern and other things.

If you have been over to the Among the Gum Trees blog you will have seen my Roonies Pincushion up in all it’s glory. Finally it was the big reveal..Yay!!

As you know Dawn put together the ‘Springtime’ quilt and she sent me and the other Gumnut girls some of the left over fabric.

After I thought about what sort of pin cushion I wanted to sew, I got creative and made this gorgeous pin cushion.

Roonies Pin Cushion

I felt it had to be elegant as that is what I think French General's *Rouenneries* fabric is….Elegant.

Gorgeous beads were added

and lovely lace added and a flower of course had to be used to ‘make’ the completed pin cushion.

Us ‘Gumnutters’ had so much fun doing our pin cushions and swapping them. I sent mine on to Judith who just loved it the minute she laid eyes on it ….that made me happy.

I have called mine ‘Roonies Pincushion’. As we all were calling the fabric Rounies…so I changed mine a little bit and made it Roonies.

This is now available for purchase from my Etsy shop.

I hope you like it as much as Judith and I do and tomorrow don’t forget to go to the Among The Gum Trees blog to see Blossom’s and Cheryl’s Pin cushions that they made.

Thanks for stopping by and hugs to all……Vicki
