It’s the 1st of May already!

Isn’t the time going quick? …
I know I say this every month but it really is flying by.
Nearly half way thru the year and that means it’s coming up to my birthday soon.
We just had my DH’s birthday last week and it was a nice day he had too. Yummy Tiramisu cake and all sorts of pressies.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
My son asked me how old I am going to be and I reminded him that I am 20 years older than he is and he then reminded me that he is now 36 years old ….EEkkk! that means I am 56 now!! I am going to be 57 yrs old…Where did that last year go to??? I was telling him that I am going to be 56 this year…that is why he asked how old I am as he knows I am 20 yrs older.
So…..it’s the first of May….that means its time for block number 5 of my Flirting With Flowers BOM.
Block 5 - Flitting About small
This one is called Flitting About. The ladybug looks like she is flitting about the flowers looking at them all.
I hope you all enjoy sewing it as much as I did.
Of course you can do it with Blanket stitch or Needle turn…..up to you how you do your block.
This block will be available until the 1st of June 2010 and then block 6 will be available.
If you missed out on the last 4 blocks of Flirting With Flowers you can get them from my Etsy shop.
I am really pleased with how it has turned out and love the overall effect….of course there are more blocks to come but you can’t see them just yet…you gotta love surprises :) I decided to give you more than just 6 blocks.
Untitled-2
I have written the instructions for the layout and but would love it if you wait until the last block is given out and then I will give you the pattern for a short time. The finished size is 40 x 40 inches.
Hop on over to the Among the Gum Tree’s blog as its my turn to have a bit of fun for Mother’s Day Mania that we are having for the week.
I made this Tote just for you all to put your pressies in for your Mum. It’s very quick and easy to make and looks so pretty. The little bit of lace gives it a sweet and pretty look just for your Mum.
Jardin of Roses
You can get it HERE also when you get my Flitting About BOM pattern.
Hugs to all……..Vicki
  4. Love the new block Vicki, and they layout. Would you believe I have the last block all cut out, glued etc. etc. and I can't find it!! I remember putting the pieces in a zip lock bag and it has vanished. A very concerted effort will be made this afternoon to find it. Then perhaps I will do two at once!
